Run the clinic on throughput, not heroics.

Authorization backlogs, denials from incomplete requests, records that take days to find, physicians doing data entry. PhyPal turns these into measured, automated workflows that sit inside the systems you already run — with numbers you can put in front of your board.

The operating case

Where the money and the time actually go.

Every number below is one we measure in a pilot, against your own baseline. We do not publish vendor-wide claims; we report yours.

Staff minutes per authorization

Assembly, fax, phone follow-up, re-submission. PhyPal validates and assembles the request, submits it and tracks the response — the staff touch is the exception, not the process.

Incomplete-request rate

Requests returned for missing information restart the clock and delay care. Deterministic validation against required elements catches them before they leave.

Physician capacity

Structured intake before the visit and outcomes captured between visits give back the minutes physicians currently spend reconstructing history and chasing status.

Record turnaround

Outside records classified and organized into a sourced chronology in hours, not days — for consults, second opinions and medical-legal work.

Patient follow-through

Adherence, function and setbacks visible between visits, so care teams intervene early and avoidable visits and escalations go down.

Visibility you did not have

Open requests, timeliness, denial reasons and rework by physician, administrator and payer — in one view, with a longitudinal record per patient.

For the CIO

Integration-first, deterministic where it matters, auditable throughout.

  • Integration: an orchestration layer around the EHR and practice systems you already run — orders in, status and data back — not a replacement portal
  • Control: rules and validation govern the critical steps; AI is applied to reading, classifying and extracting, with its output returned as structured, reviewable data
  • Provenance: every extracted fact carries its source; every request carries its history
  • Security: HIPAA-aligned operations, role-based access, audit trails, and protected health information handled under strict safeguards
  • Human authority: explicit; physicians decide, staff approve exceptions, nothing is sent that was not ordered

How a pilot runs

Ninety days, one workflow, numbers at the end.

WEEK 0

Baseline

We measure your current authorization, intake, records or outcomes workflow — volumes, timeliness, rework, staff minutes.

WEEKS 1–3

Configure & connect

Workflow rules, required elements, routing and the EHR connection set up with your team.

WEEKS 4–12

Run

Live on one workflow, one site or one physician group. Weekly review of exceptions and metrics.

WEEK 13

Report & decide

Results against baseline. Expand to the next workflow or site — or stop, with the data in hand.

FAQ

What leadership teams ask.

What does implementation take from my team?

A workflow owner, an EHR/IT contact and about two hours a week during configuration. PhyPal's team does the mapping, rules and integration work. Go-live is per workflow and per site, so disruption stays contained.

How is PhyPal priced?

Pilots are scoped and priced up front, before anything starts. Tell us your monthly authorization, intake, evaluation or outcomes volumes on the contact form and we will scope it.

Is PhyPal a utilization-review organization or a payer tool?

No. PhyPal is provider-side software. It does not make utilization-review determinations and does not work for payers against your requests.

What about security and compliance?

Protected health information is handled under HIPAA-aligned safeguards with role-based access and audit trails. Medical-legal workflows are built to California Labor Code §4628: PhyPal prepares evidence; it never writes the physician's report. Security documentation is available on request.

Bring us the workflow with the biggest backlog.

We will baseline it, run it for ninety days and show you the numbers.
